• Super-Strong Side Clasps: Heavy duty, adjustable clasps are much more suitable for spreading heavier topdressing materials like topsoil which put considerable pressure on the gate during rolling. The Artemis Compost Spreader clasps are much more durable as they don't have a large spring that may stretch over time and loosen the gate.
• Adjustable: The Artemis clasps are also adjustable so you can be certain that your gate can always be fully secured. This is very important because if the gate becomes loose, the gate will constantly pull against the fixings into the side of the spreader and damage the rivets holding the clasps in place.
• Mesh Clearing Brush: The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush spans the full width of the spreader so all the mesh is kept clear as the spreader rotates. The brush only needs to be in light contact with the surface of the spreader to clear any material from the mesh which then simply falls back into the spreader for redistribution. No other Compost Spreader has a mesh clearance system to help handle damp top dressing materials or moist ground conditions as well as the Artemis Compost Spreader does.
• Height Adjustable: The Artemis Compost Spreader Brush is height adjustable so you can set the brush to apply as little or as much friction as you want. A couple of turns by hand of the wing nuts is all that is needed to make any adjustments.
