New LEGO Architecture set available in VIP Rewards Centre

Two new LEGO Architecture and Seasonal sets – once presumed to be gifts-with-purchase – are now available in the VIP Rewards Centre. That means you’ll need to specifically spend VIP points to acquire both 40584 Birthday Diorama and 40585 World of Wonders, the latter of which is 2023’s first (and so far only) LEGO Architecture set. The build depicts four different international landmarks: the Taj Mahal, the Parthenon, the Great Wall of China and Petra’s Al-Khazneh.

40584 Birthday Diorama, meanwhile, offers a colourful double-sided vignette, complete with gifts, balloons, cake and two minifigures. You can check out the exact costs of each of these sets in the table below. They’re limited to one per person.

Once you’ve redeemed a code for either of both of these sets in the VIP Rewards Centre, you’ll need to place an order at LEGO.com to use them.

You’ll have 60 days to do so, and you can only use one code per order – so if you want both 40584 Birthday Diorama and 40585 World of Wonders, you’re going to need to make two separate purchases at LEGO.com. Unfortunately, higher-resolution images of 40585 World of Wonders have confirmed that the tiles bearing the name of each landmark – which are usually printed in LEGO Architecture sets – are stickered. But that shouldn’t take away from the wider build, which looks to recreate each of these iconic architectural wonders (two of which have never been seen before in LEGO) with impressive accuracy for the scale.

These rewards will presumably only be available while stocks last, and it’s impossible to say how many copies of each the LEGO Group has produced. If you want to ensure you don’t miss out, best to grab them soon. The good news is that there’s plenty of new stuff to justify placing those orders online…
