1.

Sage Barista Express – was GBP566; now GBP472 | Buy now from Amazon

The Sage Barista Express is a bean-to-cup machine par excellence. Build quality is top-notch, it’s easy to use, and the built-in burr grinder gives you a great deal of control over your coffee making. It also comes with an integrated milk frothing wand for all your cappucino and latte needs.

We originally reviewed the Barista Express at GBP500, but its RRP jumped dramatically to GBP630 during the pandemic and never came back down. Retailers including Argos and Very still have it priced around GBP600, but Amazon is selling it for just GBP472 this Cyber Monday. That’s over GBP60 cheaper than its average price of GBP535 and significantly less than it’s been available for over the past six months.

2. Nespresso Vertuo Next – was GBP150; now GBP70 | Buy now from Amazon

These are the best coffee machines to buy this Cyber Monday

The Vertuo Next is a coffee machine that has fluctuated wildly from its RRP of GBP150 over the past 12 months and hit an all-time low price of GBP69 for Black Friday.

It’s just GBP1 more expensive than that on Cyber Monday, and its current price of GBP70 is over GBP50 lower than its average price since launch. The machine itself only works with Nespresso’s Vertuo capsules, which might sound a bit restrictive, but there are over 25 capsule varieties to choose from and the Vertue capsules allow you to choose between five drink sizes ranging from espresso (40ml) all the way up to alto (414ml). It’s as simple to use as coffee machines come and a huge style upgrade on its predecessor, the Vertuo Plus, though its redesigned form does take up a fair bit of space on your kitchen worktop.

It’s eminently affordable, and those wanting a milk frother in addition to a coffee machine can pick up the pair for just GBP115 this Cyber Monday, the best price that bundle has ever been available for. Read our Nespresso Vertuo Next review for more details Buy now from Amazon

3.

De’Longhi Magnifica Evo – was GBP520; now GBP428 | Buy now from Amazon

These are the best coffee machines to buy this Cyber Monday

The Magnifica Evo received a five-star rating and our Best Buy award when we reviewed it earlier this year, with our reviewer very taken by the way it grinds, brews and froths milk at the touch of a button. It may require minimal effort to use, but the results are extremely tasty. The default settings deliver hot, milk-based or black coffees very capably and you can adjust the strength by selecting one of three settings.

Medium and dark roasted beans delivered the best-tasting coffees when making brews, but whichever beans you decide to go with, the Magnifica Evo brews a brilliant blend of value and convenience. That’s especially true at this Cyber Monday price. It’s the lowest the machine has been all year and almost GBP50 cheaper than its average price since launch.

4. Sage Bambino – was GBP329; now GBP230 | Buy now from Sage

These are the best coffee machines to buy this Cyber Monday

We described the Sage Bambino as “a little bundle of espresso-making joy” and heaped praise on its compact design and ability to make delicious espresso.

It’s not extravagant in any way but is very quick to get to brewing temperature – by the time you’ve turned it on, it’s ready to make you a piping hot beverage – and features a steam wand to care of all your frothing requirements. At its launch price of GBP329, it was a little close to some of its more capable rivals, but at GBP230, it’s a far easier recommendation as one of the best hassle-free manual espresso machines out there. That price isn’t quite the cheapest we’ve ever seen it – it’s been available for around GBP200 a couple of times this year – but you’re still getting a great coffee machine at a discounted (and very reasonable) price.
