The Pondovac Start is a powerful sludge vacuum cleaner with a 27 litre tank made of impact resistant plastic and features a self-emptying sludge draining system. The sludge is drawn through an adjustable nozzle (2-10mm) into the container via a four metre connecting hose. Once the container is full of sludge, the powerful 1400 watt motor switches off automatically – saving money and energy and prolonging the life of your machine. As soon as this happens a special valve at the end of the Start’s 2m long discharge hose opens automatically allowing the sludge to drain out of the tank. This takes approximately 25 seconds. The Pondovac Start vacuum then starts to suck again. The Pondovac Start comes complete with a two year guarantee for peace of mind. For larger ponds and even swimming pools try the Pondovac4. the Pondovac 5 version is capable of pumping waste water uphill rather than being dependant on gravity. The waste water can be diverted into any direction you choose, which makes the whole process a lot easier to manage.
